The Queen's Resolve

Queen Aeria Charlotte Yuki the third was the last reigning monarch of the Empire of Yuria and its vassals.
She ascended to the throne at a fairly young age after her father abdicated his right to throne and left the right to rule to his only heir - which was daughter Princess Aeria at the time.

Not wanting to repeat the mistakes of her predecessors, her leadership forwarded to adopt a different approach as a means to steer away from the rampant expansionist imperialism. This approach favored a more peaceful cause - rather than focusing on expanding its territory, Aeria’s leadership pioneered the restoration of the long war torn planet which became her future vision.

Her popularity among the people arose quickly thanks to these efforts, coupled with her charismatic personality alongside her attractive yet stunning appearance; even the most pro-expansionist politicians soon felt their hearts melting and pledging loyalty to her cause.

However her actions were a subject of controversy and rumors: Her enacted campaign for purging the old leadership of corruption and warmongers, by force if necessary. The suppression of rebellious sovereign lords and their countries by overwhelming military pressure. Diverting funds into the global restoration project along side with funding scientific and engineering research, and most importantly her own personal space program left the other sectors of the economy bleeding and hurting.

The world despite this lived in an uneasy but true peace for a short while, partially to the efforts of Aeria and her rule.

Right before the events orchestrated by an unknown party which brought the near human extinction via a nuclear apocalypse Aeria was planning to launch her first space faring vessel into orbit which sadly never came to be

Her fate or what had become of her is unknown to this day.
